"Il grottesco come via per la rappresentazione del bestiario della vita quotidiana nell'oggi contemporaneo. Ovvero di quei mondi interiori, spesso drammatici che si celano dietro le facciate omologate ed omologanti proposte in vetrina da tutti coloro che sentono il bisogno di essere riconosciuti "normali".

Un viaggio nelle catacombe dell'essere, ove la nostra parte inconscia tenta di sfuggire alle persecuzioni della psicopolizia dell'emisfero sinistro. Una guerra fra parti che ormai non si riconoscono più come fraterne in questa scissione voluta da altri ove regna la strategia del terrore e del sospetto. Una metafora della vita in questa nostra epoca dove non è più l'uomo ad essere posto al centro del sistema e quindi diviene strumento e non fine di esso: questo mi è parso di vedere nel lavoro di Ilaria."

A journey through the catacombs of being, where our unconscious part tries to escape the persecutions of the left hemisphere's thought-police. A war between parties that now no longer consider themselves fraternal desired by others in this division where reigns the strategy of terror and suspicion. A metaphor for life in this modern age where it is no longer the man to be at the center of the system and therefore becomes a tool and not the main subject of it: this I seemed to see in the work of Ilaria. "

Buona la prima! Good the first!

Questa prima mostra che ha visto l'opera di Luca Coltelli come protagonista è stata a mio avviso nonostante i classici "errori di gioventù" molto soddisfacente. Vuoi per la qualità del lavoro di Luca, vuoi per l'affluenza e l'interesse dei visitatori che si sono avvicendati dal giorno dell'inaugurazione fino alla notte "bianca" del finissage, vuoi per il collaudo con il conseguente rodaggio  in continuo miglioramento delle sinergie del gruppo di lavoro, vuoi perché grazie al nostro impegno forse riusciremo forse ad innescare un qualcosa che sia di più di una semplice novità. Grazie a Giorgio, Elisabetta, Luca con cui mi sono trovato ad attuare innescandolo quello che fino a qualche mese fa poteva sembrare e rimanere solo un sogno e forse sarebbe divenuto poi un rimpianto. Grazie tutti coloro che visitandoci ci hanno omaggiato del loro interesse ed in molti casi il loro apprezzamento: energia pura per noi, per continuare su questa strada che è stata appena tracciata. Buona la prima quindi!

This first exhibition that shown the work of Luca Coltelli as the protagonist was in my opinion, despite the classic "mistakes of youth" very satisfactory. Perhaps for the quality of work of Luca, either by the turnout and the interest of the visitors that have come and gone from opening day until the night "white" of the closing event, perhaps the test with the consequent break through in the continuous improvement of synergies of the working group, either because thanks to our commitment we may be able to trigger something that is more than just a novelty. Thanks to Giorgio, Elisabetta, Luca, with whom I have found myself out in something that until a few months ago could seem to be just a dream and maybe it would then become a regret. Thanks to all those who have honored us by visiting us of their interest and in many cases their appreciation: pure energy for us to continue on this road that has just been traced. Good first then!
